During August, the Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) and the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) are collaborating to improve the city’s infrastructure, resulting in various impacts on public transportation. In an effort to improve roads, tracks and stations, various lines and stations will be affected with delays, fewer services and some closures.
The L6, S5, S55, S1 and S2 FGC will be disrupted until the end of September, and the L2 metro service will be suspended between La Pau and Badalona Pompeu Fabra from now until August 28th. Replacement bus services will cover the stations that are impacted and will operate during metro opening hours. The regular bus services are also expected to change, with new timetables from July 30th until August 28th.
