Current Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will be reconciled with his former Catalan club as they both enter into Group C in the UEFA Champions League. Barcelona-born Guardiola managed the current La Liga winners for four years, winning a record of 14 trophies, which arguably entitled him as the most successful manager in Barcelona’s history. His team will now play against Barcelona at Camp Nou on October 19th.
The UEFA draw took place August 25th, with both Barcelona and Manchester City also facing Scottish champions Celtic and German side Borussia Monchengladbach. The Champions League kicks off, with Barcelona first game taking place on September 13th, playing at Camp Nou against Celtic.
